Party's At 555 Pine

24X36 oil 2009

Elegant Lockport cupola glows in the sunset.

Moon Shadows

20x28 pastel

This was prepared for my first Music is Art LIVE at the Center television taping.
I painted it to celebrate Monica & Mike White’s wedding in New Jersey.

Burchfield’s Trees

9x12 pastel

One of my favorite places to paint, this is where Charles Burchfield lived as a young man.

Curve Of The Falls 2008

8X10 oil

The plants on these islands, first painted July 2007, have doubled in size
while the rocks continue to resist the pressure of the water.

Niagara’s Morning Mists

12x18 pastel

My first painting with IPAP Worldwide Paint Out, 2004.

The ’shoe

11x14 pastel

The cormorants on the rock look like toys downriver from the Horseshoe Falls.
This was a perfect day to be out with IPAP Worldwide Paint Out, 2005.

Horseshoe Curve

14x11 oil

Goat Island views of the Horseshoe Falls are more powerful than views from the other side.

Niagara Falls Morning Skyline

14x11 oil

Early morning mist dulls colors and distance, but the buildings are all familiar.

Sunday Morning Falls

16x20 oil

Reflected Primula

16x20 oil

Purchased at Buffalo Botanical Gardens in January, it flowered until summer.
The background is a reflecting window in the studio, so you can see both the front & back. April 2008 calendar.

Land for Lease, Grand Island Blvd

5X7 oil on panel NFS

Sitting on the porch of Riverwood Nursing Home, this is the view from the patio across the street.
Every time someone came by, which was frequently, Mom said 'That's my daughter'.
It's very little & fast to finish a painting when the colors of Fall are so bright.

Biggest Tree in Buckhorn

8X10 oil

A giant tree on the North side of the Buckhorn Island State Park wetlands meadow can be seen from 190.
This is from the overlook, Thanksgiving morning, & it is one of my favorites.

Summer on the River

36X48 oil on gallery canvas 2008

Completed as a 'portrait' commission, this painting took nearly two months to capture the feeling of summer in all the details.
It is installed over the dining room fireplace in a 100 year old home on the Niagara River, facing Canada.

Chasing the Sun on Summer Street

11X14 oil 2008

The main entrance for an 19th C. cottage in Buffalo, this is the 2nd painting commissioned for this home.
It was a challenge to create realistic greens & contrast without losing the feeling of early afternoon sunshine.
The house has red doors & a red porch roof.

The Corner Of Jayne

8X10 oil

There is a story that these evergreens were taller than the house, Christmas lights all around, arched from one to another.
This painting preserves how it used to look in Fall.

Summer on S St.

11X14 oil

One of the Buffalo, NY cottage district beauties on Little Summer Street off Richmond.

City Hall From Cedar

A Plein Aire during my display at 'Positively Main Street Festival' June 2008.
